“Don’t like it? Change it!” says staffing industry insider and speaker Liliana Bernal. Never one to settle for the status quo, Liliana inspires women entrepreneurs to get over their fear and get out and do what they’re dreaming of to impact the world.

Described by colleagues as a relentless pusher full of energy and vision, she has an innate ability to see where and how people fit together. Call it intuition or just trusting your gut, her skills allow her to build strong teams. And those skills have consistently delivered success for clients throughout her 30 years in the staffing and recruiting industry. 

Liliana is the Founder and CEO of Balanced Diversity, a recruiting and workforce solutions provider on a quest to help clients build a workforce that’s truly reflective of society’s workforce demographics. Determined to see the one-of-a-kind uniqueness in every individual who comes through the doors, Bernal is dedicated to helping people thrive and reach their full potential. 

She’s also especially passionate about women in business and spent two years at the helm of the Sacramento Valley Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO). Today, she remains in leadership because women business owners matter. She holds an unrelenting belief that the businesses belonging to the many amazing, gifted, and passionate women she meets are worthwhile endeavors meant for success.

Prior to becoming a successful woman business owner herself and founding Balanced Diversity, Liliana spearheaded the customer experience at a global billion-dollar staffing company. There, she put together a successful track record of year-over-year growth. She also began putting into place the building blocks that would provide the foundation for her venture into entrepreneurship. 

And that’s one of the accomplishments she’s most proud of — becoming an entrepreneur. She wants to be known for making an impact, for leaving people better than before. Entrepreneurship has opened the doors for her to do that in ways she could never have imagined.

When she’s not making an impact on the job, she’s creating memories through travel and shared experiences with family and friends. Liliana’s also doing her best to be the change she wants to see in the world and inspiring others to do the same.
